Specialst &lt;strong&gt;trade media&lt;/strong&gt; - both online and off is a good place to start. Most list forthcoming events and seminars and may welcome new speakers. Try industry forums and trade and professional association sites also.  

Chamber of Commerce groups often welcome guest speakers with something of interest for their members. See &lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;www.chamberofcommerce.co.uk for your local group.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;www.eventful.com - a global site that may be worth taking a look at as it lets you review forthcoming events by topic or interest.&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;www.meetup.com - more for informal special interest groups but if your target audience is included, it may be worth approaching one in your area with an offer to speak.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;

Finally - speakers usually get booked well in advance of an event, so start your research early to increase your chances of success.</description>
